Pricing

Priced on what it has to achieve, not on hours logged

How our packages are priced

We quote every engagement individually. Not to be coy — you will get a firm number after one conversation — but because a published monthly rate is really a published number of hours, and hours are a poor proxy for whether the work is worth buying.

What the number depends on

We would rather explain the mechanism than publish a figure that turns out to be wrong for your situation.

What drives the number

  • How competitive your category and locations are — the single biggest factor
  • How many channels the engagement covers, and whether they need to work together
  • How much creative and content production is required each month
  • Whether your measurement is trustworthy today or has to be rebuilt first
  • The outcome we are agreeing to be accountable for

What it does not depend on

  • Hours logged. We do not bill time, and we do not pad scope to fill it
  • A percentage of your ad spend. That model pays us more for spending more of your money
  • How long you stay. There is no lock-in period on any engagement

Pricing questions

Why don't you publish prices?

We used to. It stopped being honest once we started pricing on outcomes rather than hours. A published monthly rate is really a published number of hours, and two businesses buying the same hours can need completely different work to reach the same result. Quoting per engagement means the number reflects what has to happen, not how long someone sat at a desk.

So how much does it actually cost?

Enough to matter and not enough to be reckless. Most engagements sit in the range typical of Australian agencies for comparable scope — our answer on what SEO costs in Australia sets out the market bands honestly, including what each tier realistically buys. We will give you a firm number after one scoping conversation, and it will not move unless the scope does.

What are the packages I've seen referenced?

Packages are how the capability is scoped — what search, paid, content or AI work an engagement includes. What changed is that the package no longer carries a fixed price tag, because the same package is worth very different amounts depending on what it has to achieve.

Is ad spend included?

No. Advertising spend goes directly to Google or Meta from your own account, so you can see exactly what is being spent. We never take a percentage of it — that model pays an agency more for spending more of your money.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No, on any engagement. Enablement programmes have a defined scope and end point by design; managed and advisory run month to month.

What if we want to reduce scope later?

Then we reduce it. If you are building capability internally that is a success, not a defection — it is the entire premise of Enablement. We would rather stay in the room as your advisor than be the agency you quietly left.

Do you work with small budgets?

Sometimes. Below a certain point we cannot do enough to change an outcome, and taking the money anyway would not be fair on either of us. We will tell you that on the first call rather than after the first invoice.
